Dull misty day. Very hot. Thunderstorms in afternoon. No visibility but balloons up.

The C in C came up here in afternoon and occupied our Mess Hut.

No 25’s new balloon BM105D was inflated with gas and took 108 tubes, ½ a nurse balloon and two nurse balloon of gas from old balloon FM43.

No 22’s balloon FM75 inflated with 171 tubes.

No 34’s balloon FM68 inflated with 191 tubes.

Winch P89 (No 15 Sectn) broke storage drum shaft and became unserviceable. Delahaye Winch from No 3 temporarily transferred.

Wing HQ shelled in morning and pieces hit mens hut.
