Rain commenced at 11am and it rained for the rest of the day.

No ballooning.

 

1ST November 1917

Very misty morning. Cleared a little in afternoon. Balloons up and 3 targets registered.

Visited No 26 Section and inspected telephone wires which crossed their winch track, and marked them on map. There were too many to bury.

Went to No 15 and inspected SB 210. Arranged that valve line be cut and cap put on centre of valve. Articulator springs rather
