15th Nov 1917

Misty day. No view.

Baker and I went to 20th Balloon Coy and 13th Coy. Saw Johnson EO of 13th Coy and handed him time table and forms, also notes on MT etc.

Visited No 4 Section and inspected reserve balloon BMS 64 which was inflated with air and appeared all right. Saw Goodliffe and talked to him.

 

16th Nov 1917

Misty day. No ballooning.

Went 5th AAP with indents in afternoon and took Forrest.

We had a slight accident on the way to Poperinghe A steam lorry pulled across the road and the tender skidded into it. The radiator was damaged.

Met Major Payne at 5th AAP. Forrest, Stone and Massey dined here.

Col was informed he was going to Home Establishment
