Dull day. No view.
Went to 11th Coy and inspected Transport and Park in afternoon. Visited 17th Coy and had tea.
No 18 Section shelled all day and balloon eventually deflated, after being hit several times.
No 36 Section’s balloon hit, and machine gunner killed in afternoon.
Vlamertingle shelled as we passed through.
No ballooning.
1st Dec 1917
Foggy day. No view. High wind in evening.
Brigade Major (Aubey) dined here.
No ballooning.
2nd Dec 1917
Snow last night and frost this morning. High wind. No ballooning.
Higman, Mears, Stone, Lamb, Goody and Bevan had orders to report at Air Board on 5th. They leave tomorrow.
Visited No 15 Section and 6th Coy and found everything all right.
